So I was in the library the other day, odd I know. But I couldn’t help noticing a little toddler playing in his mom’s lap while she was multitasking all over the place. He ended up punching in random buttons on his moms laptop when she wasn’t paying attention.

This amazing little boy had somehow managed to highlight IE, and hit delete in one fowl swoop of his fists. Of course, the computer prompts for permission before it sends an application from the desktop to the recycle bin. The mother hits no, and goes back to doing whatever with some books and papers and such.

This smart little bugger kept hitting buttons. I barely caught a glimps of the 2nd prompt on my way past, but to my amazement he had almost deleted Outlook Express as well. . .

. . . I’ve never had this much hope in our next generation (:

So life has been a bit busy lately. and yes, that IS an understatement. For those of you who didn’t already know, I turned 18 last week and had homecoming over this last weekend. My birthday was average, and the date was superb. She kicked my rear end at laser tag [still think she cheated, haha.].

between the whole adulthood thing, and the scrambling to find a new car I hardly had time to write reviews about all the ‘horror-show filmies I viddied.’** however, I did keep track of which ones I watched.

    From the top:

    1.) alien
    2.) aliens
    3.) alien 3
    4.) predator
    5.) predator 2
    6.) ZombieLand (15/5 Star rating)
    7.) alien vs. predator
    8.) nightmare on elmstreet
    9.) friday the 13th
10.) First Blood (yes, im counting it as a halloween horror, haha)
11.) Harry Potter and the sorcerors stone
    12.) killshot
    13.) Friday the 13th (2007-08 remake)
14.) The exorcism of Emily Rose
    15.) Dawn of the Dead
16.) at most recently, Shaun of the Dead.

Quite a list, quite a few weeks, and quite a few days where I slept in later than I probably should have. Not all of them were really “worth it”, but It’s definitely helping to put me in the Halloween mood (: which is now only a few days away (:

as a matter of fact, it is in need of a coundown =]

**yes, that IS a clockwork orange reference. which is up next on the list.

So my mad movie marathon started off this week. First with the Sixth Sense, and then with The Village, moving to Seed last night. M. Night Shyamalan has done some pretty odd movies, and I can honestly say that if you have seen those first two, you have seen all of his films. He has a way of twisting the ending of a movie, but no real plot development throughout most of it. not going to give it away for those of you who havent seen them, but it’s fairly obvious yet still kinda makes you think.

Seed on the other hand was . . . disturbing. I watched it late at night, alone, after driving Alexis home. I must say i had nightmares. The plot and story behind it was pretty lame, but the footage they had in it was extremely disturbing. It showed dogs, babies, grown women just starving to death and decomposing in fast forward.

I would probably recommend the sixth sense and the village at a 6.5-7 star out of 10 for both. Seed i would rate at a 2. maybe. unless you’re sick, then maybe you’ll like it more? maybe.
